Sorry this week's field notes are little late and not as robust. That's what the beginning of the school year, a new foster care placement, and beta testing woes will get you.

App of the Week

Editorial is the most powerful text editor on iOS. The workflows you can create with it make me long for a Mac version and make me genuinely enjoy writing on my iPad more than my mac.
While I do tend to use a combination of Ulysses and Workflow more due to its organizational structure, with my iCloud issues this week, I have returned to Editorial for much of my writing thanks to its easy Dropbox sync.
I have a feeling I'm going to be bringing Editorial back into regular rotation because I'm really enjoying it.

Album of the Week
Rivers in the Wasteland - NEEDTOBREATHE
NEEDTOBREATHE has been one of my favorite bands since the release of their album "The Outsiders" in 2009. Last Friday they performed in Nashville, and I was again blown away by their musicianship and the show they put on. They are truly one of the most talented bands out there.
While Rivers may not be my favorite by them, it's still an amazing record and worth a listen this weekend.
